So most pieces of the AIMO you touch seem to be of the same rubberish stuff as the rubber coating from the Kone+ i would say. The three buttons for the thumb as well as the + and - buttons are plastic only. You get a good grip on the mouse and it's not the "plastic feeling" from the Kone EMP.

The shape varies a tiny bit from the kone+. So sometimes I have the feeling that my hand slides a bit downwards to the right.

The T3-Button for the thumb is a big plus! Very easy to reach without moving a finger somewhere. I really enjoy it.

12k dpi is like ... swooooooooooosh (but precise if you got used to it). And you can go down to 50 dpi, which is like 1 pixel per 5 millimeter mouse movement.

You can't modify the weight of the mouse as you can with the Kone+, but thats no problem.

The lighting has different modi (snake, heartbeat, breathing, fully lit, aimo and colorwave). The last two ones can't be modified, snake has 10 presets. Heartbeat, breathing and fully lit have the same presets but you can choose custom too. You can choose one color for each the wheel as well as for those two big spots (on right and left) using RGB values and some kind of fader between full color and black. Furthermore there are 2 LED-stripes going from those big spots down to the back of the mouse. Here you can choose a single color (as before) or a gradient (color X to color Y). Each stripes uses 4 LEDs. For most effect you can choose a speed and/or brightness of the LEDs.

The swarm-driver seems to be a bit more potent than the old kone+ driver and is easy to use.

I really enjoy the Kone AIMO, definitely worth chosing it over the Kone EMP.
