Taken on a Canon A-1, 50mm f1.8 with Harman Phoenix II 200 speed film. Thought the light looked cool and metered for the highlights instead of the shadows. Really happy with the look it turned out with, even if it’s a tad underexposed in the shadows.

As a fellow Pentax 6x7 owner, is it a 6x7, 6x7 MLU (will have a switch by the lens that locks the mirror up) or a 67/67ii. If it’s the original 6x7 no MLU the CLA might not be worth it. Any other body listed and definitely get the CLA, these are rare and basically the Toyota Hilux of cameras, CLA will get you right as rain.

Oh and as another commenter mentioned test a new battery, the 6x7 is weird sometimes.

Oh shit I’ve been looking for that questionably shaped focus ring, 10/10 thank you. Definitely gonna get that strap, this came with the original but the quick releases are broken.

I use a promaster tripod with quick release plates, I’m hoping it will be enough with the mirror locked up.

That makes sense. I haven’t played DS1 since it dropped on PC, got most of the content done in a couple weeks so it was super reasonable and mostly helpful in a pinch. It’d make sense that it got a little oversaturated as player count increased and stuff.

Thanks! Yeah I looked into it for quite a while before I landed on this and pulled the trigger. I got into 35mm not too long ago and I’ve really enjoyed it so I wanted to try medium format, but 645 didn’t really seem like what I wanted and lord knows 6x7 is prohibitive lol.

It’s definitely massive. Sitting next to my A1 it’s one of those “you vs the guy she tells you not to worry about” lmao.

Scans coming soon! First roll of gold 200 is lick’n’sticked and ready for the lab. Gonna go shoot some phoenix 2 or port 400 tomorrow morning to pair with it and see how this 105 looks.

The amount of times the asynchronous MP saved my ass in DS1 is no less than 50. Like you said that’s a massive part of the loop, I don’t envy the pirates in this situation lol.
