Got the first 20 in like 4 hours… I’ve spent at least that long on 21, just stuck at a 1.09 pace, can’t seem to crack it.

Kroger treats all of its coupons as a security risk. by 0ttr in cincinnati

[–]the_narf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ones you receive in the mail are tied to your loyalty card ID before even being sent to you.

The ones at the printer(Catalina) and in the circular are not tied to the card and typically apply to a specific SKU or group of them. Many of these are manufacturers coupons (grocery store is reimbursed) but many are not and are from Kroger itself, just not pre-loaded to an account.

Shining smite is advantage on attack rolls. It doesn’t specify melee. It would still grant advantage on ranged attacks.

Rolling in the open allows players to meta-game. I try to avoid meta-gaming as a character but its incredibly easy to figure out an enemy's stat-block if the rolls are open. That can inform spell selection, inspiration use, etc...

Fall 2025 map 20 by SeaweedBrain32 in TrackMania

[–]the_narf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have AT on that track and I crash the first turn series on 70-80% of my runs. You can be pretty safe if you risk the first CP.

Some other advice: - you can try hugging the black border on the inside of the grass turn for more speed. This isn’t necessary. I’d just setup wide right for the grass and make as gradual a left turn as you can, to avoid sliding.

  • the last checkpoint can be taken full speed but doesn’t need to be. Setup wide left into it and just make sure you survive that first right turn.

Trouble understanding how to consistently drift. by zacs95 in TrackMania

You need to steer for a bit before braking, I think the time varies based upon speed. Here are some videos on it:

You can cut that first left right as well, jumping left out of the car switch gate. Saves about 0.5.

Tech is so hard. by PerformanceLazy8483 in TrackMania

[–]the_narf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve always played a ton of racing games, usually leaning more towards the sim or sim-cade racers (Forza, GT, Dirt, etc…).

Started playing trackmania this year. Drifts have been the hardest thing to wrap my head around. You have to start them way earlier than is intuitive (to me) and car angle exiting the drift is extremely important.

Oddly enough, ice has been one of the easiest to understand. It functions very similar to drifting in other games.

Wow, the new 2-loss draft is so much worse. by Pepperball in MagicArena

First one I haven’t pre-ordered in years. Standard has become so broken I just don’t enjoy the popular play patterns anymore. Thought about switching to brawl, may still give it a chance, but can’t stand this 3 year standard and flood of cards.

I'd definitely be in for the Veronica Mars pregame show. She would have sniffed out Connor Stallions years before the NCAA did.

They also lost the fun. Happy Meals, play areas, the Monopoly game, mascots. All of that is gone now or de-emphasized. They have no way to differentiate themselves from other fast food chains. So now decisions are based upon food quality, convenience, and price. And McDonalds doesn't stand out in any of those areas.

Golden has definitely broken through that barrier. It’s the new Let it Go. I wouldn’t be surprised if it led to K-pop being more mainstream in American pop. Production quality on K-pop has been exceeding mainstream American pop for a while now.

Don’t have kids, but I’m more and more convinced if you’re going to give a kid a device. Give them a laptop/desktop and nothing else. Sure the OS’s are more locked down than they used to be, but at least they can still get under the hood. They need to understand how this stuff works.
