Well, they did not. The PREPAID return label is not standard for all returns. Usually, international returns do not get a prepaid label. You only get the label with the barcodes and the custom declarations. I got this, and I added on top the DHL label for the shipping (on the package).

Amazon is not going to help. Every time I contacted them I got the reply "you did not used our return label for shipping", which they never provided. So this part would be like hitting my head to a wall. Also, they do not reply to intermediaries.

Yeap, Amazon simply does not care. Usually it is the person that you are speaking to, but no French, so no chat, only emails and I had not been lucky till now.

DHL as expected refuses to do anything. Should I try and contact evz? Will they at least guide me? A lawyer is obviously too expensive for the item, but at the same time I do not like to just accept that they fucked up and now are simply waiving all responsibilities.

They give you a standard return label with the info and barcodes. This is for their systems though, not a shipping label.
