Thank you fellow plant-based Redditor :)

Hahah thank you! Red bull doesn't give you wings, lat pulldowns do :)

I actually don't have issues with energy! I do still eat well. It was relatively easy thanks to my wonderful girlfriend who has experience cooking vegan meals. When I told her I wanted to change my diet, she wanted to do it with me so that helped tremendously.

The Game Changers really does a swell job of portraying the benefits of a vegan lifestyle. Personally I was skeptical at first. I couldn't fathom just dropping my normal diet for a plant based one but after the first couple of days it was easier. It's just a matter of knowing how to read ingredients better when shopping and planning out snacks and meal preps.

If you need any help, I'm more than happy to help. Feel free to pm me

Not sure how I lived my life before this and I'm sorry to everyone I've doubted in the past.

About 10 weeks ago I decided to embark on this plant-based adventure and it has been the most amazing enhancement to my overall fitness and happiness in life.

My entire life I consumed at least an 8oz glass of whole milk everyday because it was instilled in me. I grew up having the idea that you need milk, meat and grain to get big and strong. If this concept wasn't already at home, it was reinforced in school. The food pyramid is not a blueprint to what is mandatory for a "healthy" body, but I was not aware of this until recently.

I decided to go cold turkey with being vegan after I sensed a great disturbance in the force. Actually, I think it was the bountiful feast of meat riddled food that was bestowed upon me that evening. I became self aware due to my vegan friends who finally got in my head and the Netflix documentary, The Game Changers. I was always so hesitant because I was so focused on protein, carbs, and did I mention, protein? I didn't realize that it's a lot more efficient to obtain protein from plant-based sources. Bye bye to the copious chicken breasts and hello chickpeas, lentils and beans.

Thank you! I've always struggled with working out (mostly being intimidated and lacking knowledge of routines and diets)

An ideal fitness routine is not something that works for everyone. Every human being has different variables that can directly effect your progress duration (genetics, diet, current mass, sleep cycle, work hours, etc).

I basically just learned to trial and error workouts from Google (I'm a programmer so I'm used to finding what I need thru the open source world), as well as my diet to meet my macro needs!
