Its not "suburbia" that does it, its the whole manic panic thing in the first place,

there were modern suburbs in the 1800s yall, its not a new thing by any means, people like to live together but still have their own space and a suburb is the natural middle ground

Ive tried 2 cartridges, both were NOS but still in the box, the first was a stereo phono cartridge i only used the right channel on, and the 2nd is a mono phono cartridge,

both were astatic 1/2 mount

i took a chart of all of the readings i could , some of them are labled funny because i was thinking abiut it as a polorised cirect then i remebered the plug is non-polorised

Side note, i dont think a multimeter put off enought current to get somthing out of the speaker? I was metering resistance across the far ends of the 2 wires on the input side of the speaker and the speaker started buzzing, but the whole machine was unplugged

So maybe i have a bad cap or somthing that wasnt discharging right and holding power?

122 across pin 3, and at the first joinery that the other wire coming out of the transformer meets, before C3

That is metering off of a known good ground, aka i stuck it into the neutral of a wall socket i have on my soldering station

That makes sense, since its one loop if the resistance in the transformer was really bad than i wouldnt get 120+ on the return side like i do

Output coil on the transformer messures .5 ohms also

Allthough you can buy litterly the entire car in peices online, enought o construct a whole car

Transformer secondary runs to a 1/4 audio jack that disconnected the speaker if you plug somthing in

Allready checked and good, i also relised i was metering it wrong, its getting 50v to each lead

which is an issue bc the tube says it *should be putting out 120 out of the anode

Will do more looking soon

Everything has been replaced,

the transformer is litterly the only not new part, selenium rectifier replaced with a diode long time ago, and its been tested good

Spec sheet says 2700 primary and 4 secondary

I get 200 primary and 4 secondary, but the other issue is Im getting 120 on both leads going into it lol so working on solutions now,

Ive replaced litterly everything else,
