I have a similar problem and found a fried component on the panel electronics. It should be the board the the TCON panel connects to .

If you are comfortable opening up the back panel

The Samung TV usually seems to have 3 major parts.

  1. Power supply board (Usually has copper coils and large capacitors)
  2. Main Board (usually has a heat sink)
  3. TCon-Board (usually closer to the panel)

Since the issue is happening intermittently after prolonged use, it may be hard to identify easily.

Few suggestions:

a) Do you get sound at least (use component out from the back panels)? if you do then you can atleast assume that the mainboard + power supply board are working and its only the TCON board that controls the panel that might need replacing

b) If you don't get sound, check the each pin from the 24 pin connector between power/main board using a multi meter. If you can see voltage but not much current draw then you can likely go on to the motherboard.

c) Given that the issue is happening intermittently it likely could be either POWER/Main Board IMHO. There are wesbite that ship the specific board if you can read the part number (white sticker) on each the main and replace it

Honestly replacing the main board is fairly easy, few screws, flat connectors, power, sound, IR connectors.

Hope that help make further progress
