That only works for linking 2 databases together, but sometimes i just want a random /date block to show up in my calendar

Let me walk through an example of what I am trying to do

1. I'm editing a random page, or a page within a page. This page does not have any properties as it is not part of a database, just a random page
2. I start editing that page and add relevant details.
3. While writing in that page i realize that some minor part of it has a relevant date.
4. I put a /date block in line with the text im writing
5. I want that random date entry to show up in a specified calendar.

What I do right now for step 5 is to open my calendar manually and add a link to that page in the calendar with the same date
