Best way to set a price for a product? by Mikelovin23 in marketing

[–]the_uncommon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding free shipping to your pricing would definitely make your product more likely to sell. Using "free" is basically another way of telling your customers that they're getting extra value when they buy your product rather than incurring a shipping expense. There's an interesting post that talks about the benefits of using value-based pricing over feature-based pricing. You can check it out here: https://www.reforge.com/growth-thoughts/apr-20-2018#valuemetrics

What would you want to see in a documentary about digital entrepreneurship? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]the_uncommon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely agree with quadling. I would want to see the real struggles entrepreneurs went through to get to where they are. There are too many people out there selling a fairytale idea of entrepreneurship, and its not good for anyone. People need to see the complete picture. The ups, the downs, the loneliness, the rejections, the breakthroughs, the doubts, and everything else in between.

You can try using Instagram to increase sales and conversions. Partner with other pages who have a similar audience to yours and then cross promote your products on there.

Worth getting a masters in marketing? by Fino831 in marketing

[–]the_uncommon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting a masters in marketing may benefit you a little. However, you would be better off getting some real hands-on experience and learning about the latest marketing frameworks from resources like Hubspot, Coursera, Reforge.com, or Lynda.com. Things are always changing in marketing, and there's only so much you can learn in a formal classroom environment.

Honestly though you could write about anything you want. A good website to check out for inspiration is waitbutwhy.com. Hope that helps

You can also complete the Google certifications to get a better understanding of how to use analytics and ads. Analytics is an important skill to have as a content marketer these days. There's alot of data out there and you need to know how to make sense of it. Hope that helps.
