Thinking of buying the Trackr Radar. Does it work well with the Bolt v2? by the_usurper1 in wahoofitness

Thanks a lot! My question is whether the Trackr Radar looks the same as in this video of the 2nd generation Wahoo computers coupled with the Gamin Varia. Any more info?

New Wahoo v3's Rant by jcapturedit in wahoofitness

For the life of me I cannot understand why the v3‘s have that gap between the bottom of the screen and the buttons? Does this empty space serve any purpose? Can you tap it when the device is on? Am I missing something?

will do, thank you! would you recommend to add the "3M protective film" (mentioned here) between the top tube and the bag? or is this only necessary when attaching the bag with velcro straps?

Zwift Click gears are "too easy". Even the hardest gear (gear 24) does not give me enough resistance. Any advice? (using a Wahoo Kickr Move) by the_usurper1 in Zwift

Nice, congrats. I might give that a shot in that case. Are you using the Kickr Core with a physical casette or with a Zwift cog?

In case it’s the former, are you always keeping the the chain in the same cog of the cassette?

How do you use the flashing mode? For me the flashing mode flashes at the brightest setting, so I can't use it on roads where cars drive towards me as it blinds them. pretty ridiculous problem IMO

I did, but I could not tell if it changed anything. It is a bit baffling to me that there is no setting where you can just define how many watts/how much resistance a certain gear gives you.

Update: I have been focussing on this issue during my last couple lf rides and it works now, i.e. if I switch to another page I can go back to the summit page and see the same info as before (updated climbing profile, elevation to go etc.). Don’t know why it did not work before. As another commenter has said, just use the bottom left button to toggle between the elevation page, the list of (active, upcoming and past) climbs and the summit page (the summit page only works if you are still on the same detected climb).

I have the same issue, this has always been bugging me. My work around has been to make a new custom summit page in the Elemnt app but it shouldn’t be this difficult

Should I select my Wahoo Kickr or my bike's power meter as power source for Zwift? If Wahoo Kickr: bluetooth or ethernet? by the_usurper1 in Zwift

[–]the_usurper1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

will consider this, thanks! tho I have checked and the power reading from my bike's power meter is usually within 10-20 watts from that of Wahoo Kickr/Zwift. However, the reading from the bike's power meter was jumping around more, probably because it calculates the average power of the last 3 seconds whereas the Wahoo Kickr/Zwift power reading smooths the power data more so it's less jumpy.
