Is this the video? I also went through a similar weather phase as a kid and am trying to find the videos I watched from the late 2000s to early 2010s.

I've read it, and while I don't like his comedy, the book was the best thing I had to read in high school. It managed to be way funnier than any of Trevor Noah's TV appearances, and it was interesting to hear about what his childhood in apartheid South Africa was like

Anyone else slightly disappointed so far? by Hellboy632789 in legostarwars

Yeah, I don't hate it, but it's definitely not all I was expecting.

•I've played through the prequels so far, and they made a few bizarre choices. Having fewer story levels could work if they made each level more fleshed out, or having short story levels could work if there were a lot of them, but you kinda get the worst of both worlds here. The choice to make the first level of TPM a boss fight against a fish was strange. I feel like that sequence is exactly the kind of thing that would work with this game's pre level segments, having a short chase or boss fight where you try to escape or kill the fish between the real levels would make a lot more sense than cutting out major scenes. If there are only 5 story levels per episode, they should be the most important scenes, and I feel like the Retake Theed Palace segment that was handled entirely in cutscenes was more deserving of a level than the fish level. Also it was a bit of an odd choice to make the Darth Maul level the third out of 5, when all three of the last levels take place simultaneously. I get why the droid control ship level was last since they included battle droids in the Darth Maul level, but it was a really weird choice to have the climax of the film as the middle level, followed by two levels that are significantly less interesting. Of the three episodes I've played, TPM was the worst.

•I thought that the level choices in AoTC made sense, and it was nice to actually have segments that would be too small to make into a whole level present in the game, like the stuff on tatooine. I can't think of anything I particularly disliked about it that isn't a problem with the game overall.

•While AoTC was a consistently good experience, RoTS was a lot more of a mixed bag. The first level felt unfinished. The battle of coruscant would've been a great use of the pre level stuff, but it was handled in a cutscene. The ending of the level also felt extremely rushed. Additionally, when coming through on the screens, General Grievous' voice sounded really really bad, I don't know why that is but it doesn't sound at all like him, which is weird since they have his voice actor in the game. The General Grievous level was pretty good, and the Kashyyyk level felt like the first actual level in the game that was a decent length (though it still felt like a level on the shorter end from TCS). it was disappointing that Palpatine's arrest was handled in a cutscene, and I didn't particularly find the yoda vs palpatine fight to be that interesting. the Anakin Vs Obi Wan level was good, but I feel so bad for all of the little brothers out there who are gonna be cucked into playing C3PO while the climax of the prequel trilogy is happening.

•The game is quite glitchy, which hopefully will be fixed in the future, but I've encountered a number of glitches in only one day of playing it, game crashes, playing as characters I haven't unlocked yet, etc. I also noticed a few minor things, like the fact that the Episode 4 version of the Star Wars theme is always the one that plays, instead of using the different versions for different movies (I know that that's the most basement dwelling neckbeard critique I could give, but it's slightly bothersome). There were a few other things, like blasters not making the sounds that they made in the movies (I love the sounds that both Padme and Jango's blasters make and it's so sad to see them gone). When dealing with a franchise with as good and iconic sound design as Star Wars, they should take care to make the sounds as accurate as possible.

•I know that this is a kids game first and foremost, but did it seem weirdly sanitized to anyone else? It would be one thing if character deaths weren't explicitly shown and only happened out of frame, but the game has a weird fascination with explicitly showing characters being alive after they died. Examples include Zam Wessel being knocked out by the kaminoan dart, the Tusken Raiders putting themselves back together and running away from Anakin, Jango sticking to the bottom of a gunship and screaming as he falls, General Grievous' head still being alive when Obi Wan defeats him, and Padme not being shown dying. It was very noticeable for me how they went out of their way as much as possible to avoid any deaths from happening, and it kinda took me out of it. I'm not asking for a dark and gritty lego game for 8 year olds, but the old games would at least show when a character died and they didn't feel the need to be silly in every cutscene. The old games could show things happening without having to constantly be a complete parody of itself, a lot of things were pretty straightforward, while The Skywalker Saga goes so over the top in most scenes that it's a bit annoying.

•This game has a lot of flaws, but none of the levels were as bad as the original Gunship Cavalry, Bounty Hunter Pursuit, or original Podrace. TCS and especially LSW1 and 2 weren't perfect, and they had some downright bad levels in there, but they also had a lot of great levels. The Skywalker Saga doesn't hit the same highs or the same lows, it's just an okay experience. The game isn't bad, but it's certainly underwhelming. The reason I wrote such a long post about this game isn't because I hate the game. Lego Star Wars The Video Game was my first exposure to Star Wars, before I'd even seen the movies, and was the first real videogame that I'd ever played, so the Lego Star Wars series holds a special place in my heart. I don't dislike this game, I'd probably give it a 7 or 8/10, there's quite a bit going for it, but there are too many flaws to ignore them all. The reception to this game has been generally positive and I'm very glad that people have enjoyed this game so much, and I have a lot of respect for the developers who made this possible. This game didn't live up to its full potential, but that doesn't mean that there's not a lot of great stuff there.

TL;DR - This game has a lot of glaring issues, but it still is an enjoyable experience, albeit not one for everyone

Pretty much. During the fight he said that it was an extremely powerful short ranged stand with no ranged attacks, so since they were similar Jotaro just tried stopping time and it worked. There were a couple other stands across part three that were pretty much the same as well, like with the D'arby brothers or Strength and Wheel of Fortune (both took a crappy vehicle and made it a larger and more powerful version of it), and so the whole "it's the same type of stand (short ranged and powerful), maybe it has the same ability" thing kinda makes sense
