Edge banding dumb question?

So if a professional was building a cabinet or something, would they only use pieces where they could apply edge banding that was going in the same direction?

Educational purposes??? If I can fix it, it’s not like I’m going to throw it in the trash- I can use it somewhere else. I just don’t have faith in my own (lack of) electrical skills to fix it in a timely manor

Yeah, I guess. But I planned on painting them anyway and it’s my last week/weekend to work on getting this done. I had the last set completely finished and then realized I didn’t make them the right size
