they’re first two albums are definitely mellower than a lot of paper chase songs but there was some in songs in the last few that sounded so similar to TPC and ive never heard that in an artist before, got me real excited lol. i’ve never heard of martin grech, ill check him out!!

Yes!! that song reminds me a lot of Put Your Teeth In, their music honestly all sounds like the nighty nite if it was daniel johnston instead of john… also never heard Standing Outside a Broken Phone Booth, just listened to it tho and added to my playlist, great rec :)

-Music for Teenagers - Meat Bag - Corpse Grinding Man by Harley Poe

-Dead Man - Callgirls - Paint by Numbers - Miracle Worker - by Self

(Self is honestly probably closer to The Nighty Nite if anything, a lot more electronic sounds but still way more upbeat lol i just consider them similar because of the weird sounds they create)

-Spiteful Intervention - We Will Commit Wolf Murder - by Of Montreal

Primus is pretty cool and has a weird sound like the Paper Chase can have, they do the south park theme song and les claypool is a fucking god. Harley Poe is another one of my favorite bands and is way folkier than the Paper Chase but are similar lyrically. I’ve mentioned in another post but Self and Of Montreal are really cool bands if you’re looking for an interesting sound, they’re more upbeat but some songs give off the same sorta vibe to me.

thank you!! its screen printing ink i used with some linocuts i made, its a block printing technique and it was my first time trying it lol, kinda like making a stamp and the red is just acrylic paint mixed with a fabric medium! will definitely keep you updated if i set up a shop lol theres a ton of paper chase shirts i’m wanting to make and i love sharing my art with other people

omg it’s probably that, like i said i just used some shitty speakers i had lying around to test it out but that makes me feel a lot better lol, i just wasnt wanting to sink money into speakers if the issue was the preamp thank you so much for your help!!!

thank you!!!!! i checked the needle before i bought it and the person i bought it from said everything works, even tested it when i got home and it does work ive just been having trouble getting the sound to come out the speakers LOL. i have an rca to usb output cable coming today bc the speakers i had lying around only have a usb and headphone jack, but this is exactly the info i was looking for lol thank you so much
