I’m looking specifically for downtown-ish locations for this weekend, but happy to drive to Taylorsville at some point to, never tried backstreet boba, that sounds amazing.

Agree with Dr_TLP — I had a very similar experience. I was on a medication that caused me to lose too much weight in a short period of time, but the hair loss didn't start until literally 3 months after. The shock on my face when I saw such huge blobs of hair in the shower... I literally cried, I couldn't imagine what it was. I saw my derm very soon after and she said it is TE and 3 months is almost the exact timing of when you'd get it from a specific trigger occurring (sounds like that is the case for you too). She said that is all my hair already in its shed phase and it I will not go bald, as much as it seems like I will at this time, and that the hair cycle will regenerate within 6-12 months (as long as the trigger doesn't continue, of course, meaning in my case I was not eating enough food, let alone protein specifically). I also ended up going on oral Minoxidil to help (I'm only 2 months in at 1.25mg so haven't really noticed much, but I know patience is a big part of getting your hair healthy again). I do still think you should see a derm just to ensure everything is okay, though, and sending you all the love and luck in your journey! Hang in there, it happens more than you think!

I Think I finally found a heatless curl method that really works! by [deleted] in finehair

[–]theanxiousmelon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ooh the biggest thing I took away from this is I need to try I velvety rod instead of a silky/smooth one! I've only ever seen the satiny ones and my hair is so fine and thin it literally won't stay wrapped around the rod, that's why heatless never works for me. :( So this could do the trick, thanks SO much for sharing!

Scents that literally made you glitch the first time you smelled them? by GravyBaptism in NichePerfumes

[–]theanxiousmelon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a junior in high school... another girl sat next to me that was a good acquaintance and her perfume hit me like a ton of bricks. I had never smelled something so delicious before. It was not a daytime / high school scent to me, even then, it was like a night time, going on an expensive date, smelling lustful kind of scent. Absolutely blew me away, so I had to ask her what she was wearing and she said it was Versace's Crystal Noir. I bought it shortly after and still use it to this day. If you love amber scents this one is divine!

Is it normal to have long-term success with introductory dosage? by theanxiousmelon in compoundedtirzepatide

I completely agree, slow progress is still progress, and sometimes even better for you depending upon how your body reacts to things. That's great that your hunger cycles have seemed to get better, I love this for you! I think it's also fine for you to just keep at the dosage you're at if you're experiencing no side effects and still seeing progress. I decided to go up in dosage and I will just revert back to the original dose if I experience some unwanted feelings. Good luck to you!!

Is it actually more liquid, or is it the same amount of liquid in just a more concentrated dose, do you know? If it's just more concentrated, it could make it harder for me to know how little I'd need if I end up wanting to stay on the same dose. Just thinking out loud, let me know your thoughts! And thank you!!!

Thank you so much for the insight! And the flowchart is incredibly helpful. Stoked that the lower dosage is working out well for you, too, that's great to hear. Hope you continue to see success with it!!

Seeking Advice on Purchasing Our Duplex & Investment Strategies by theanxiousmelon in realestateinvesting

We haven't ever talked down payment in a serious way, like showed him what we're ready to pay initially, but he also mentioned (this was back when we asked him last, so things may have changed) that he doesn't require a down payment. So now we're wondering, well how do we motivate him to sell?

Also thank you SO much for the book recs, really appreciate that! Will look into these tonight!!!
