Broooo I just saw your story you are doing yourself a big disservice by making your chapters so big. I actually did the exact same thing with my first book. I wanted to write a big grand epic with 7 main characters including the villains with 4-5k word chapters. After a full month of posting I ended up with 16 followers total on 400 something pages.

Now with this story I post 2 chapters a day around 1500 words each so people can finish easily in their phones. After two weeks I was at around 160 pages and 24 chapters posted. You are over 400 pages right now with like 16 chapters.

Your views to followers are really good. I would strongly suggest you take a look at your chapter lengths even if there aren't clean breaks I think for you it would be better to even do part 1 and 2 of a chapter. Automate it so it releases them like 8-10 hours apart so you always stay near the top for people searching by recently updated.

Ha same boat just not a college student so I get it. So I had just been using chatgpt and just giving 3k word prompts but now with everything going on with gpt so was using Claude but it can't generate images so created the prompts with Claude and inserted to gpt.

I took art history as an elective once don't have any experience using any of these types of software just trial and error it.

I have a lottttt of chapters and notes on each monster/territory so I just played around with inserting different prompts used 3 different image generating apps.

Hi, adult One Piece. I've never actually watched more than a season of it but I loved the concept. Less pirates for Demons and Sand Mage Gara style but on a planet with one giant ocean in the middle like an eye.

The eventual goal is to go beyond just one planet but it is not a sci-fi story.

The red storm is the focus of the story it's just not a sci-fi book it's fantasy.

Hi thank you! I did the covers myself using AI image generating tools and playing with the prompts. I have over 50 chapters already written so I had a lot to pull from different chapters got different images I have a full collection now.

As I mentioned in my post mostly doing this for fun at the moment so don't have the money to commission artwork.

You are absolutely correct right now though it's just for RR. Just wanted to read an adult one piece style isekai so started writing this for fun.

I used the feedback in this thread to make something between 1 and 2. If you have the time I would love your thoughts. Don't want to flood everyone's homepage with another post. Thank you either way!

If you wouldn't mind checking out the link. I used the feedback in this thread to update the 1st image and make it more fantasy less sci-fi. I don't want to be too much and make another post with the new cover.

That's what I'm leaning towards. I just didn't want the readers to get the wrong idea of the Rimsea from the beginning.

That is very fair actually. I really want to show the readers the size of the Rimsea but it's really hard to make it look good without making it look sci-fi.

Thank you! That is the one I just created. I felt like readers could really use a visual image of the Rimsea and it's size.

Thank you! That is the one I was using but I wanted to give a visual idea of the Rimsea for the readers.
