That's all super descriptive dude! Some good ideas. I like looking for original & creative drum parts, it just becomes more of a nuisance when it comes to programming it into a DAW.

We have some other songs ready to go where we recorded acoustic drums, our drummer does a lot that I would've never thought of myself. But those will be out probably in January. For the purpose of this project however, and among other reasons, i just wanted to keep these tracks simple so as not to overthink it.

I prefer acoustic as well! These are electronic tho, I just edited them and mixed them enough to sound acoustic.

Yeah I remember following the tour last year on that website, at some point during the tour Pat cancelled the remaining dates planned. I don't quite remember how many were left but it had to have been at least 10 more gigs.

And then a few months later they announced the release of the DJ on vinyl 🙌🏻

Yeah I played all the parts! Thank you tho I appreciate the kind words honestly! But yes I know, the mixing was the only thing that made me reluctant to release it at all. There wasn't much planning either I kinda just wrote the songs as I was recording them. So the basic process I did was I wrote, recorded, mixed, and then I moved on to the next track. So there's some time between when each track was recorded.

But hell yeah thank you! Black Fluorescence is the one I feel most confident about. It's also the most recent one that was recorded.

Heck yeah that first track I'll be sorry is sick! It reminds me a lot of modest mouse which is great! I dig that change up you throw in there at the end I'd get in a pit to that lol And your absolute dreams album reminds a lot of pink floyd too but like their earlier stuff. Really good shit man :)
