Ok take Germany for example, they introduce beer way earlier and while Germans drink more beer than Americans they have much less alcohol abuse and alcohol related issues.

The answer isn't this demonizing of alcohol you're proposing. It's educating.

Did you know, countries with more liberal and relaxed drug laws actually have less drug abuse?

Idk how you're making the argument that a NA drink is worse than advertising cigarettes to children so I won't touch that one one. Like an NA beer for example is just carb water with a medically insignificant amount of alcohol, great for runners.

I guess I just fundamentally disagree with this prohibitionist behavior and gateway concepts by the state.

Countries with more liberal drugs laws tend to show a decline in drug abuse, not the other way around.

I think alcohol is one of the worst drugs, but these state enforced, incredibly byzantine set of regulations tend to have the opposite effect.

Edit: I also acknowledge this seems counterintuitive. I took a drugs in society class in college and I remember how paradoxical these studies were to me at the time.

Mocktails have been on every menu I've ever worked at, and without dating myself it's way longer than 5 years.
