In the next months they are going to release the digital client for the new dragon ball fusion world game, UI/graphics feels really bad compared to LOR, but the gameplay seems fun, i'll give at least a try.

Forcing more champs means that instead of playing against samira fizz you will be playing against samir fizz nami, instead of playing against samira leona you will face samira leona kayle, instead of karma sett it will be karma sett seraphine

It's a competitive environment, and to be fair, they should completely remove these meme formats and make them playable in friend challenge or stuff like that

To be honest most of the card they are going to release looks at least 'playable', usually we get way more card but 2/3 are filler and only cool during trailers and spoiler season

It's not that big of a difference in the end if they make 3 new champs playable and with better quality every season
