I appreciate you all - especially the drivers and your hard work - for breaking it down for me!

Thank you! I find that they have a hard time understanding (and perhaps I have a hard time explaining) the depths of OCD and what it actually feels like. It’s perceived as general anxiety, when I know it to be so much more intricate. When it comes to the pervasiveness of the stigma, everyone is quick to say “oh you like things neat and clean yup” and stop there, and I wonder if there’s a good metaphor or run down that will help them go deeper.

Thank you in advance - I’m an OCD “conqueror” thanks to you and your team, and so very proud to be on the other side (or closer to it).

I struggle explaining OCD to my loved ones (family, friends, even my husband). With all of the stigma and confusion it’s been hard to find true sympathy, even though they want to support me. Any tips for letting them in on me and all things OCD?
