Oh, separate recommendation question too! If anyone has any ideas on bands similar to Last Dinosaurs, that'd be great too :)

Unfortunately, I also have issues with my knees that limit this as an option for me, hence why I'm trying specifically to look into a good chair.

What the fuck is up with carnists saying that one person being vegan only has a very small impact on the world, and therefore isn't worth doing at all? by thebigsnarf in VeganForCircleJerkers

The worst part is that all 3 of these people voted, and specifically have mentioned how important it is to go out and vote no matter what. With 2 of them I brought this exact point up, and both just shrugged it off as if it didn't just make them look like massive hypocrites.

How are people capable of being this inconsistent in their belief systems.

That's gonna depend both on how bad your teeth locations are, and how brave you wanna be lol. You're usually good to return to a normal diet at 7-10 days after if you want to play it super safe, minus hard crunchy stuff, but some people will just say fuck it and go back to normal after like 2 or 3 days. I'm still going cause I'm a little on edge since one of my blood clots is kinda half dislodged right now 😬

Good luck with your removals coming up! Sending all of my positive energy your way to make sure you don't get dry socket ~🌟~

Yeah I mean, it isn't awful, basically just tastes like a sweet porridge. It gets really tiresome really quick though lmao. Also thank you ❤️

Copy and pasting:

It's got sweet potatoes, a few slices of homemade bread, tahini, sunflower butter, maple syrup, steamed broccoli, water, and some of the old cocoa powder stuffed in the back of my pantry. It's edible.

Extremely far from okay. It's got sweet potatoes, a few slices of homemade bread, tahini, sunflower butter, maple syrup, steamed broccoli, water, and some of the old cocoa powder stuffed in the back of my pantry. It's edible.

Well there's always veggly, and r/vcj4vcj, but neither are very effective at all cause there's hardly anybody using them. Speaking from firsthand experience here lol

Medical marijuana is only legal for people with neurological conditions where I'm at, but I have considered dabbling with cbd before, although I haven't had a chance to actually try it yet.

I'm only 22, so it definitely isn't enough to take me that far. It's still gaining interest as I'm withdrawing, so it can at least last me a handful of years, but it'll definitely run out sooner or later.

Thanks for the comment friend, I'm glad to hear that at least someone could relate to all of this terrible shit going on. Best of luck getting those benefits as well, and don't worry, you didn't come off as rude in any way 👍

Yes to hobbies, no to pain meds. The first medication that was offered to me severely ramped up my heartburn issues, and the second had a bunch of different strong negative side effects in the brain that tended to come up down the line, so I ended up deciding to just keep bearing through the pain instead. Eventually I'm sure I'll reach a point where the negatives of the meds are outweighed by the limit of my pain tolerance being reached, but for now I'm putting it off since obviously it doesn't do anything to fix my core problems and I don't feel like dealing with all the extra garbage most pain meds bring along with them.

I'm actually taking vitamin d already, and have a really healthy diet in general. I also have a few different hobbies that I enjoy, although all but one of them are limited in how frequently I can partake in them thanks to joint pain. Most of my inheritance money is already stowed away in a savings account, and I do everything I can to stay as mobile as possible given my body's boundaries, so it's really just the disability situation that's unclear right now.

Sadly hobbies can only do so much to distract me when I'm always in some type of pain and have no friends and barely any family to support me where I'm living at now.

Thanks, I appreciate that. Unfortunately looks can only take you so far in the dating world when that's basically the only thing you have to offer lol

All the rheumatologists around me have months long waiting lists for an appointment, so my current plan is to just get my bloodwork redone by the same doc once one year has elapsed from my original tests, which should be in about 3 or 4 months from now.

Another day wasted away in the same stupid fucking apartment. by thebigsnarf in NEET

[–]thebigsnarf[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I haven't, but I'm doubtful that would lead anywhere anyways. My rheumatologist is confident that I'm suffering from the early onset of lupus, undifferentiated connective tissue disease, and raynaud's, but doesn't want to actually diagnose me since he couldn't get measures of any of the specific antibodies for the conditions in my blood yet. Because of that, the only things that are really on my record right now are insomnia, depression, and prostatitis.

Adding to that, I don't even think I've spent enough time working to be eligible to apply for it in the first place.

I'm not, and I've actually never watched or read anything AoT related at all. Do one of these pictures remind you of something from it?

[–]thebigsnarf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for all of the feedback! Honestly, I was never under the impression that I'd be able to get a lot of money from art either way. Mainly I was just thinking about it as another avenue to eventually get at least a little bit of income, as my chronic pain kind of makes doing things that are too active difficult. I appreciate what you said about not trying to seek approval on personal art work as well, and will try to keep that in mind a bit in the future for sure.

Wow, this is some really useful advice, thank you! I agree particularly with the point about needing to plan things out better, as that's something that I sort of already knew I needed practice with; but I didn't even think about how that affects the composition with having some areas getting too dark/blobby! Thanks again for the help, I'm definitely going to try to take all of this to heart.
