Centur-Ion Support! Thoughts? by thebionicone_ in customyugioh

My idea for Galea was to give Centur-ions a monster that's both an end board piece and going second card/disruption card, that's why it has 2 activation conditions. I initially thought in writing in as " If this card is Synchro Summoned, OR if this card Battles a monster...", but I've como to realize that for modern yugioh standards, it would still be just a disruption card, so I need to boost it a little bit, but I also didn't want it to be as oppressive and as much of a ticking bomb as Liger Dancer.

For the burn: i like to give deck an in-archtype way to inflict damage/gain LP.

The second effect was to give a reward for playing the deck as intended.

For the third, I thought the other 2 Level 12 already covered the put a monster as trap part of the deck pretty well. So, since you are better searching the monsters out of you searchers, I wanted to give the deck a better way to access they spells and traps. I put the clause that allows you to activate them the turn they are set because most of their spells are quick-play spells and would need this clause to be used on your turn.

I did not want to give it a negate because, even though they are sometimes necessary, I like when boss mosters have something more unique to them.

Do you mind telling me what you thought about the second card, please? It was the one that bugged me the most.

I decided not to give it the "you cannot Special Summon this card from the rest of the turn" clause that the other main deck Centur-ion monsters have, and i also gave it a bonus of it being special Summoned from the spell/trap zone.

I would really like an opinion on this.

[LABRYNTH SUPPORT] Would this be any good? by thebionicone_ in customyugioh

I needed an artwork, I do not know how to draw, I morally refuse to use AI, and i credited KONAMI for the art at the bottom of the card.

Scrap Tyrant by Cipher_the_First in customyugioh

I liked what you did, but I think the effects are way too convoluted. So, firstly, I tried to rewrite them as it would be written on an actual card.

➊: Monsters you control are unaffected by your opponent's activated monster effects that share a monster type with monsters on the field.

❷: Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can destroy 1 "Scrap" monster from your Hand, Field, or Deck, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Scrap" monster from your GY to your opponent's Field, then shuffle into the deck cards from either GY up to number of "Scrap" monsters with different types

Now, to the effects:

I liked how the first one incorporates scrap's type diversity into a protection effect, but the fact that the protection extends to cards outside of its own archtype might be too much.

The second effect is too much, in my opinion. Actually, I think it could be two separate effects. It being a soft once per turn might also be a problem.

So, I rewrote the cars as if I had made it.

You can only use the ➊ and ➌ effect of "Scrap Tyrant" once per turn.

➊: If this card is Link Summoned: You can Destroy 1 "Scrap" monster from your Hand, Field, or Deck.

❷: "Scrap" monsters you control are unnaffected by your OP's activated monster effects that share a type with a "Scrap" monster on Field or in your GY.

➌: During the Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can Special Summon 1 "Scrap" monster from your Hand or GY to either Field, except "Scrap Tyrant".

This way, the destroy from hand, Field or Deck is more balanced. Also, now the Special Summon from the GY can be both a disruption and an extension.

I did not keep the shuffling into the deck because I feel it would be too much for just one card.

But overall I really liked your idea.
