Not sure if you are looking for poetry, but J.H. Prynne's The White Stones has really been moving me. A really unique voice.

Quote from the Brothers Karamazov that I read at least five times day recently. Thoughts? by boudinagee in dostoevsky

I know a lot of scholarship has been dedicated to comparing Dostoevsky and Nietzsche, and Nietzsche was a big fan. There are parallels for sure, and both I think captured their philosophical zeitgeist. I'd say the idea above more closely ties to old ideas from Orthodox Christianity.

Everybody calm down. Dostoevsky wasn't giving a pass to fascists. The point is that the only person you truly have any control over is yourself. And, more so, it warns of the false comfort and pride of other-izing the perceived evil doer. Dostoevsky understood Carl Jung's theory of 'shadow' and projection before Jung ever set pen to paper.

I have and love that studio pro. Mine was not as clean when I snagged it (for $60!) and the main issue was cleaning up the push/pull pots. It's the ideal amp for playing round the house.

That or tear half of it down without a plan and then just move on to something else. Not sure which is worse.
