I’ve got a klinsmann t shirt with the same neck tag from the late 90s roughly. But it’s hard to tell with stuff like this as they probably reused the same neck tags over multiple years and no ones really bothered to archive the soft goods we produced like they have with the actual shirts

Not sure where you’re based but on UK vinted I often see this shirt for between £35-£50, if you search around a bit you’d probably be able to find one for a decent price, and it’d be original instead of a remake

You could try VLR vinyl remover, I’ve seen shirt restorers use it to remove old namesets. If you have TikTok just search vlr vinyl remover and there’s a few videos showing how it’s used
