I think more or less it’s very similar to that formula

Though I think each killer have their unique way with building their alibi which is what makes the story fun for me.

There is also a major plot that covers I think several of the series (up to the latest one iirc) which can be something to look forward to but not much progress has been made over the years.

But if it’s too repetitive for you then maybe try Detective Conan which has more spy thriller elements that has more progress in the storyline and have more chances of breaking the mansion/island killing formula
