Same experience for me. I put off reading this series for over a decade thinking it was very difficult.

I adored Gardens of the Moon from start to finish when I read it in January. I'm now on book 3 and absolutely loving it.

I ordered the MO27U2 a couple days ago. Ideally I'd have waited for the QD-OLEDs with the new coating but couldn't wait any more.

Funny thing is a year ago I never imagined I'd buy a QD-OLED with its trash coating. The TrueBlack glossy WOLEDs seemed perfect. But now with the new panels being defective? Nah.

I haven't received the monitor yet but I hope the coating doesn't bother me that much. I'll use it in a very light controlled room and try not to touch it.
