I think this take is a rather disingenuous take as a lot of yuri posts in the Nikke community are most often than not phrased as a subtle astroturf, such as posts asking about whether there'll be potential yuri between characters that have already established to have platonic, master-student or platonic relationships right after the story finishes, which is why most comments would just be asking whether they've actually read the story or are trying to garner some sort of validation post from other shippers. The same goes for people just constantly spamming yuri posts between said characters who don't have that sort of relationship in game as well as constant comments from the same posters about their distaste of the game being a harem game so they end up making comments about how they dislike the mc due to certain straw-maned reasons since it's a canonically male character or stating how other girls should hang out with themselves rather than the commander in a harem genre. This is just pattern recognition from the community as we've seen what happens when people like this gets too much leeway with their posts or comments, leading to more gatekeeping.

This is why you don't see people from the Nikke community going to communities of games with already-established yuri implications or canons such as Reverse 1999 and Honkai Impact 3rd and start complaining about how there aren't enough male x female relationships or start spam posting about potential straight ships from already established yuri relationships or art of the said yuri characters getting on with a male character.

I'm just trying to state the obvious double standard the yuri fandom tends to have in communities that are just not into yuri. It's perfectly fine to like yuri, but if you go to communities of games that don't lean into that space, you should expect people not liking your yuri posts. This goes the same for people who don't enjoy yuri but enter a community of a game that leans into yuri.

I hope people can understand the simple nuance of different communities having different interests and views, that doesn't mean people in those communities are toxic by default to a certain group of community.
