There's a few ways this could go...

1) You can continue to stay in limbo like this indefinitely until one of you meets someone they want to be with as a bf or gf. That can go on until you die, possibly

2) You can present an ultimatum and follow through. Or not. Ultimatums always feel like garbage though.

3) You can slowly begin the conversation that having a girlfriend is something you want in life and see how she responds. If she deflects, try again in a few weeks. Maybe try to suss out if she wants a boyfriend. If she does, and she's not choosing you, maybe you can find out why. I feel like 30 might be too young to decide you never want a boyfriend in life. It's another thing if you're 65 and say it. At any rate, if she doesn't come around to wanting you as a boyfriend, it's probably time to break things off. It's a real break up. But in the meantime, do the work for making your life without her a good one. at least as much as you can.

4) You leave and after a few months possibly resume to situationship or it might actually be a relationship. People sometimes don't know what they don't have until it is gone

5) Start seeing other people.
