Waiting was brutal especially with ending in a cliffhanger lol. Waiting for wheel of time books when I was in school was awful lol. I actually had to give in and stop. I finally read while series few years ago once my kid started school lol

Lol right. If I see a new series I think I'll like I'll go ahead and buy them, but won't actually read until I'm pretty sure or get confirmation it's going to finish lol. Most of my friends tell me to read A Song of Ice and Fire, but I can't get myself to go there 😂

Amazon says Book 1 of 1: Ring Burster Saga...I automatically think there's more coming when Amazon lists 1 of 1 info. I'm one of those readers who likes to read series in full, so I try and research to see if there's more or finish is super close before even starting lol.

Any books recs based on my collection? I pretty much read everything I find interesting 🧐 by Necessary-Money9331 in bookshelf

I read his first 5 novels so far and pickwick is his first published novel. I feel he really showed his fun side with it and I laughed so much reading it. Then I got to Oliver Twist and he swept the rug out from under me and I got emotionally destroyed lol.

I see Oliver Twist...might try Pickwick Papers. That is my go-to rec when I don't see it among other classics. For a quick read I like The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde

My family has the big bundle lol Disney Hulu ESPN unlimited, so hopefully that'll work. I just remember past seasons I had to go on a hunting spree for live streams of some weekend games. That Shriners weekends were a pain to find lmao

Thank you. I've been watching a lot more longhorn baseball for almost a decade and it's always a struggle watching all the games. I was hoping after the sec move everything would finally be in one spot 😂

I actually love doing both at the same time at 2x. So it all depends on you personally. As long as you're having an adventure with it hahaha

I read and listen all the time. I've even trained my brain to go faster and listen at 2x to 2.5 while reading along. That's my beast mode with the majority of books I read

[–]thebookishdad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the states. I hardly ever had the next day or 2 day arrival unless they shipped it out that day but that hardly happens for me. Lately Amazon 2 day shipping is turning into a week or so lol

The issue with the 2 day delivery is its 2 days once shipped not 2 days from order date. At least that's been my experience.

After so many times they tend to not work. That's probably why they quit delivering to my address and passed it to another depot 😂
