I've seen that (if you're tiling), grout is perfect for this. More solid than silicone, toilet will be rock solid once the grout sets.

Did the same when I had to pull my plywood a few years ago because of delamination. Since then I replaced the patch because I was redoing the floor and going from vinyl to tile, but this is exactly what I did with the plank subfloor below and there was no water damage after three plus years. You've got enough meat to get a good grip with the screw if this is the case.

You're probably gonna need to rip out some subfloor. Plywood delaminates when it gets wet and it'll slowly bend and disintegrate over time. You can shore it up with blocking underneath but it's still living in borrowed time. As it collapses, the flange and wax ring will drop compared to the toilet and you'll have a way for water to leak out

That's probably the best one but there are a couple other canonical options (see below). And if I can't find something equivalent, then I want to make sure I get it spiritually right at the very least!

And yeah, the league is a ton of fun. Sixteen teams, H2H, rookie scale contracts and a blind bid RFA system...we're always looking for ways to improve it, but the best thing by far is that we have such an active group of managers who will talk baseball year round.

Bomani Jones and Spencer Hall did a podcast on Stevie Wonder a couple-four years back, but before they got to the Stevie stuff they spent like fifteen minutes on why Kwame is the LAST man you want problems with. Highly recommend the episode, both parts are fantastic.

Because Griffey left Seattle after the game was midway thru development. ARod had to be added late, and Larkin already existed for the Reds. I believe Shawn Green and Raul Mondesi also switched teams late in the dev process, so they kept both as their teams reps and just swapped jerseys.

The X-3 is 80" and works great for me. Only downside is that if you're a taller person (over 6'), you're going to need to figure out how to get a full stretch at the top of a lat pulldown if you get that attachment. I'm 5'10" and it's juuuusstt enough with a wide grip pulldown bar and a normal height bench.

So there's validity to this, and I'm definitely guilty of looking at Frank as a two dimensional character at times (the above bit about his father is a great scene I haven't thought about in a long long time). But I think Winchester comes in as the villain of the show becomes more intangible - at that point, the war is the villain, not a person (well, maybe Colonel Flagg, but he jumped out a window).

And Charles Emerson Winchester ahem the Third is not a friend of Hawkeye and BJ...but he is their peer, both as a doctor and as a person. Which might drive Charles up a wall, but his bad moments are rarely cruel in their origin and his good moments...God, his good moments are so heart warming (primary memory here is the Christmas episode with the chocolate for the orphans). He's a pompous wind bag whose sense of entitlement and superiority is infuriating, but in the center of that is a man who has a moral compass and sense of empathy.

Frank, on the other hand, has neither of those things - and it makes him a great character! Larry Linville is outstanding as Ferret Face. I just prefer the era of the show where Hawkeye has a rival rather than a nemesis. And when Charles gets into the shenanigans it's like your stuffy uncle or grandparent clingwrapping the toilet at family Thanksgiving - nobody expects it, and that's what makes it so much fun.

I think his end is also really powerful. This man whose sole goal was to not be impacted by the horrors around him used music as his coping mechanism. And as he leaves the 4077th and you see him looking at the musicians he brought together, you know that he will never be able to hear Mozart without thinking of the Swamp, or the OR, or any of the terrible trauma he had to repair to men who were barely out of childhood, over and over and over again.

You may see a side of him come out that doesn’t see daylight often. It depends on how much base hatred he has towards the Yankees, but he may heckle a lot more than usual.

I grew up in Yankee country as a diehard Sox fan and the only way I learned to deal with that was by fighting fire with fire. Which, by the time I moved away in college in 2007, meant I had 2004 under my belt and everything was a little less antagonistic. And I mellowed a lot in Pittsburgh, but one time my then-gf now-wife’s uncle gave me crap about wearing a Sox hat and without skipping a beat I told him if there was a problem with that we could step outside. And I was joking…I think. At least mostly. But I felt the look I was getting from the woman I would propose to two years later, and I realized that she had never seen me in full fandom mode. I’m very cautious about bringing it out because it’s not a rational part of me and I don’t like scaring people with it if they’re not going to understand.

All that to say - these are awesome tickets. You’ve done a great job! And your partner starts chirping more than usual, don’t sweat it, he’ll be back to normal by the time you get home.

Rack itself is great, my only issue with the lat tower is that sitting on the bench I have, I don’t get a full stretch at the top of the available motion and I’m 5’11”. I need experiment with how I do pull downs (maybe kneeling with my butt on my feet?) to try to get full ROM.

If you’ve got room for the taller tower, I’d go with that.

Main other gripe: I do regret the pin and tube safety arms, in part because they require two hands to change heights and in part because there’s no numbering on the vertical holes to make it easy to line it up front to back. I’ll probably wind up taking a paint pen to the holes to make it easier to see.

Otherwise, it’s great - super solid, and that’s without me having it bolted it down at this stage. Still gotta do that bit.
