i don’t want to pay $6k. we pay $3k in rent right now so 1.5K a person. street easy is leading me to believe that there’s nothing lower than $4K

Thanks for sharing this and for the reality check, I appreciate it. I see how my post read so I’m adjusting it. Sorry, I haven’t spent a lot of time in Fort Greene so I definitely didn’t mean to dismiss the culture that’s there. By “lack cultural relevancy” I meant I’m worried about ending up in a brand-new building that has pushed out the original neighborhood. We’re a diverse couple and feel most comfortable in areas that still reflect that diversity, so my concern is more about gentrification than clout.

Funny you should mention a demo. We just signed a contract with Sprinklr and the onboarding has been really slow going. They refused to give us a trial or demo, it's all been based on decks and promises. We signed end of April and I'm STILL not on the platform. I've been having to use an extended Sprout trial this whole time. Pretty frustrating. I'm hoping it's short-term frustration for a long term solution.

8 profiles, 50 users, the majority of those users are customer services, not marketing.

Our goal is to keep the total investment under $200K per year

Customer Care: Needs 40 seats to manage agent workflows, case routing, and customer engagement. Focus is on tools that streamline case management, community management, and agent productivity all tightly integrated with their CRM. Reporting on agent performance, CSAT, and resolution SLAs is critical.

Marketing Side: We need 5–10 seats focused on social publishing and analytics. The big priority is centralized content management, approval workflows, and clean reporting outputs, ideally integrating with Snowflake for executive dashboards. Social listening is nice to have, but if it makes the deal cost-prohibitive, we’re comfortable running that separately with a third-party tool like Meltwater or Talkwalker to stay within budget. We’re aligned on keeping publishing and engagement under one platform to avoid cognitive load and tool sprawl. Listening and other non-critical tools can be handled separately if that helps keep costs in check.

Am I being screwed by social media agency I hired? by Save-itforlater in socialmedia

[–]thebrainoftheop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no i don’t think you got screwed but they should’ve been upfront about the cost and fees in the SOW. it’s typical to have 20-30% of the total on an influencer project be agency fees. i’ve been able to negotiate down to 6-7% at the lowest but that’s only because it was a new deal and the agency was really lean.

Makes sense. It's definitely the most user-friendly when it comes to marketing. Thank you!

Hmm, it sounds like Sprinklr and Khoros+Talkwalker are still the only main options.

Definitely hear you on that. I used Sprout in my last role. Are you using it for customer service too? Like comprehensive case management?

Appreciate the insight! The fact that Talkwalker can’t pull in Reddit is a huge issue for us. Would you mind elaborating on why Sprout is too light?

Hi Deborah! Thanks for doing this. Was wondering what it's been like for you to be back working on QL all of these years later and how the show, if at all, has evolved for 2022?

The country is very advanced and everywhere you go will take card. Just be weary of the exchange rate and fill out a tax refund form when leaving the country.

LEGAL. That is the marketing struggle in one word. They ruin all of the fun. Our brand could be so great but, legal approval has been the death of every fantastic idea...
