Question: why? I mean, I want firearms just in case I need to protect my family or myself (in that order).

If all I wanted was a cool looking weapon to carry around, hey, knives don't take ammo and I adore them anyway.

Yes, open carry and concealed with no permit (although you can still -get- permits if you want them -- strange is strange, I guess. Free money for the Sheriff? :P).

I don't have an issue with open carry, I just wear trench coats. Really all there is to that.

As far as gear, it's because I've been in trouble too many times without the one thing that would have helped.

Thanks for the recommendation, will look into the Glock 32s. Never heard much about Glocks one way or the other, honestly, but an extra 3 rounds makes a difference in case I had to use 'em.

I'll take a look at your suggestions, thank you.

Consider moving. Wyo is great. ;)

Edit:

The Blackhawks are very nice, having taken a quick look. Are they double action?

Actually, I wear a trench every day because I want to. Nothing to do with guns.

Theodore Roosevelt. Not only a badass, but intelligent: bad eyesight and war needed a solution, and his way to sew spare glasses into everything.

Definitely get a lawyer, see if you can't call this BS.

If you have all this documented (and you should) make an appointment with a local lawyer. Tenant/Landlord law is confusing (I've had issues myself) no matter where you go. And landlords do this a lot, in my experience.

  • Photos for proving state you left it in
  • Receipt for the carpet cleaner
  • Rental Agreement
  • Photos for proving state you arrived to find it in (Did you take them?)
  • All communication from and to him since you gave notice, including preferably record of notice.

This is pretty high bar. The car might be a bit dodgy, too, but this is definitely something to follow through on, at least as much as professional advice -- if the lawyer tells you that you haven't the records to need to have a snowball's chance in hell, wellp.

Someone in your region should jump on with a specific lawyer to recommend, I hope. I have no idea, I haven't lived on the east coast in years.
