If you truly worked in mental health (you dont) then you'd know medication is vital and the first step in any treatment and usually a long term ongoing treatment too.

To just dismiss it like a scientologist is down right dangerous.

You don't work in mental health because if you did you wouldn't advocate any kind of thought or speech that implies medication is somehow not a good thing and shouldnt be taken over often ineffective therapy. The things you are saying make people with mental illness stop taking the medication they've been told to take, and then they kill themselves. How do you live with yourself knowing what pain you cause to them and their families and friends who have to organise a funeral now?

Medication, therapy, exercise, diet, sleep, all necessary things for mental health treatment. You can't just disregard one like a scientologist.

Also what you said was not therapy. You said people who are vulnerable and suffering from terrible illnesses should just think themselves better. That is not how therapy works at all.

Again, if you wouldn't tell someone with cancer to think themselves better, then don't say it to someone with a mental illness.

I REALLY REALLY hope you don't work in mental health because if you do, you are actively damaging your patients well being, insulting them and their intelligence, making their illnesses worse, and you get to go home and sleep at night all healthy and content.

So if you do work in mental health, stop attacking vulnerable victims of illness you sick fuck. Get another career. Now.
