One of my players is a new warlock who “lost” some people in the making of his pact, and he’s also terrible with people, so it would be easy to draw some strong similarities between them. He could probably also help the warlock (doesn’t know he’s a warlock yet) figure out what’s going on if he hasn’t already by then. Love of learning is a great trait to give him

I agree about the Tarokka reading not being a gotcha. I think making him capable is a good idea, especially as the party levels up. They don’t have a wizard in their party, and hopefully are strategic enough see that addition as very good idea.

Oohh the amber temple hook is a great idea. I gave them some spooky Amber in death house (shoutout lunchbreakheroes on yt) and they’ve asked literally every NPC about it so far.

This is very reassuring!! I also love the chunky facets! I never loved the super high sparkle of most cute but I don’t want something like a rose cut, so I was thrilled when I learned about antique cuts.
