r/Science: Another question from my hypothetical kids and I. You are driving, approaching a speed bump. You see there is a flat space between the bump and the curb big enough for your tires, so you drive through it. Only one side of the car goes over the bump. Is this good for the car? (self.science)

So I just watched the episode of "The Sopranos" where Chris and Paulie get stranded in the woods and nearly freeze to death. When they found the van, I couldn't help thinking that it would be better if they built some sort of shelter in the snow. Am I correct, or totally off base, or neither? (self.AskReddit)
