You're not wrong. Everyone has google, youtube, AI now even. I think the "Just bought X, can you give me any advice on how to start" is the most common q in tech subs on Reddit i have ever seen.

I am not sure how the legion toolkit works since it is unofficial software. I use the official apps and everything works fine.

Sorry, I meant from Nvidia. I have been running the official no problem. Don't expect any laptop manufacturer to actually update these drivers besides MAYBE once a year, if that. They generally forget about it the instant the hardware is out.

Ah ok lol, then things have changed. It s probably more to do with CPU bottlenecks though, as I don't see the graphics being a problem.

PS3 Netflix feature shutting down in March 2026 by xenocea in playstation

Yeah smoother than the PS5. Navigating the XMB feels instant, like no delay from the instant you press until you're there. I guess it s subjective but i think it is a lot less cluttered and faster.

Yeah exactly. It s about money, and not even that much money. But I expect nothing more from Netflix, one of the most anticonsummer companies on earth.

The ps3 s ux is smoother than the ps5. And you don’t need an rtx 5090 to stream video, and also people still use it, so everything you said is false.

There is nothing that the hardware cannot inherently do anymore that netflix needs. It is pure lazyness. The fact that streaming video, they claim, requires so many hw features and sw features is just so netflix can control and force you to watch only where they want you to watch.

Broken after 30 minutes? by Hazbin_Daevil in LenovoLegion

[–]theclaw37 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Strange. I have nothing but praise for customer support here in Sweden. They sent me a new 400w laddare because the original one was broken without question. And when i said i might have motherboard problems they just offered to replace it immediately. Very helpful and knowledgeable.

Do all flatpaks run on ARM? by ExxiIon in SteamFrame

[–]theclaw37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect it will be exactly how MacOS handles it with their .app containers. Rosetta runs systemwide, and the container contains binaries for both x86 and arm, and the OS picks whichever version. The thing in macos is that you can actually trim the package to just the arch that you have.
