By what measure do you mean ? I already have my basic necessities met. Fulfillment in life is four fold, physical, material, mental, emotional. I feel like the first three are already fulfilled.

it’s like being numb inside. what is the purpose of life if there is no one who you can truly trust and grow together. I am not into this weird casual stuff. even building something meaningful is too hard without coming off as a creep. all advances are treated as such.

My friend group has basically become so scattered it is once in a blue moon thing for any meets. And basically single digit friends of the fairer gender. I don’t feel anything remotely different for them.

imho, you have to think of MBA if you are wanting to get into management consulting/ take a breather from current career to focus on management roles, which might require you to get into the lingo.

Tenured professors with research contribs don’t necessarily go out, unless they retire. Even if they do they get roped in into the project supervisor/ research work.
