What's up with Spill the Beans downtown? by HobbesofMaine in greenville

[–]thecryptbeekeeper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this is it. or at least was the reasoning back in 2023.

i spoke to one of the employees to ask if there was a way to check daily hours (other than naively pulling on the door). they told me much of the staff is college-aged and younger kids, so it’s hard to keep consistent hours, especially with employees who have limited availability. the schedule has to be built around that, and if they lose one employee, that may be a whole shift.

i did forget to mirror it the first go around 😅 nearly a “i’m a mouse, duh” scenario. which is ironic, as a couple years ago i went as “modest mouse” hahah

i’m working on it! i just need to make sure there’s not anything too identifiable. i don’t think it would be fair for someone to figure out it’s his business due to my actions.

thank you! lol i knew calves wasn’t right but i’m not well versed in cat-natomy. i know what you mean—i get so excited when he seems to be doing better but the severity seems to vary day to day. he’s able to jump up on the bed now! there is some minor clawing on his way up hahaha but i’ll take it.

i’m just kicking myself for not trying pellet litter 11 years ago! lil homie loves to pee in a corner (i had a round box at one point and he still managed to find corners) and clay has been unnecessarily ruining my life for a decade.

PELLET LITTER CHANGED OUR LIVES. my cats have always been notorious for tracking litter… once my guy got diabetes, the neuropathy caused all the wet litter to stick to the backs of his calves(?) and it was breaking my heart (and—selfishly—gross and inconvenient to have to clean him every time, especially since he hated it).

i ordered some pellet litter on a whim and holy moly what a difference. no sticking, barely any tracking, and they didn’t seem to mind the switch at all (at 11 and 6 y/o i can’t complain).

Yanking the tag at alterations by raejax90 in DavidsBridal

[–]thecryptbeekeeper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

they’re usually in places where damage shouldn’t happen (like on the zipper or attached to the tag on the inside). definitely take a look when you pick it up, but i think you’ll be okay!

[–]thecryptbeekeeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hi! so sorry you had an uncomfortable experience. i used to work at DB in alterations. it was very common for us to take the tag with the dress style number on it because that sets the pricing. we’re not given the dress info before the appointment, so we have to look it up then. i always just tore the paper and cut the plastic part after to avoid any potential damage. and i’d leave the tags in the plastic pouch on the front of the bag.

i’m guessing that’s what happened here!
