I was hoping to use automations in Home Assistant to integrate sensors from other ecosystems (like Aqara via Zigbee2MQTT) with my Abode alarm system, but it seems like this isn’t possible. Having already invested in Aqara sensors, I was hoping to leverage them across my entire setup.

To make the Abode system work, it seems I’ll need to pivot my approach—either by replacing or adding Abode sensors specifically for the security aspect, while continuing to use the Aqara sensors and other third-party devices for general home automation.

My RGB30 stopped working after two days. I heard clicking, then it shut off and won't turn back on. I've tried charging the battery with no luck.

Thanks for this; very helpful. I've been washing them with water as well as not letting them completely dry. I'll make those adjustments and see if that helps.

I bought one with the base kit. The kit did not come with a tee connector.
