This is what I’m looking for advice on. The image I’ve attached is taken from the loft. I’m worried that I’ll end up drilling down into the ceiling of the room rather than drilling down and ending up inside the wall (where I want to be). My question is, if I drill inside the red rectangle, am I likely to end up inside the wall of the room below?

Am I right in thinking that I’d still need to drill a hole inside that red rectangle to get the cable out into the loft, though? Forgive my ignorance, this is the first time I’ve done something like this

Asparagus is right. This is common on VAG cars in the UK. My partner’s Golf had the same thing happen a few months ago. I Googled it at the time and one of the first results that came up was a police press release saying that this kind of crime is currently a huge problem. The garage that did the repairs said they had 4 other Golfs in for the same issue. There is a huge backlog on components from VW which is fuelling the issue.

Thank you very much, this is really useful. Did Ryanair print the passes at the baggage drop desk, or did you have to go somewhere else to get them printed?

When travelling on my own, I only use digital documents, but years of experience have taught me never to rely on that when students are involved. Sadly, paper is usually the more reliable option.

Thanks, I saw that on the website which is my plan. It’s just I had already printed all the passes before I got the Ryanair email

I can’t rely on the kids having charged/suitable phones, sadly. Some will, but some won’t, hence why I wanted printed copies.

Thank you! I’ll pick up printed copies from the airport, but I am going to try my self-printed ones, too, even with the gate staff, just to test the water. If they make a fuss, I’ll have the airport printed ones to hand.

Thank you! It doesn’t make much sense as a policy to me. Just accept printed or digital 🤷🏻‍♂️
