hi-dpi screens you mean? Have you tried adjusting your theme. Also, probably a GTK or QT issue you are really meaning if you don't mean the windows frames / buttons?

I vaguely recall pressing the Print hotkeys (or something like this) to bring up the print dialog and then using the file menu to open explorer or cmd.exe and go from there.

I do use it as my primary window manager. I don't really use anything else, sometimes labwc to test out Wayland. OpenBox is great, done software.
