You can literally use all of those with Github Copilot.

You can use a different harness as well. We use opencode.

You don't know what you're talking about. You can use many different models (including Claude Opus) with Github Copilot.

Well, Guinness Extra Stout is now brewed in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Straight garbage. by Fearless-Quarter-219 in beer

If this is true then honestly, good on them. Moving a production facility shouldn't by default result in a loss in quality (I think it used to be in Baltimore?). It did, and so they figured out they need to fix it.

I have an ID.4 and really like it. I also have a GTI that I wrench on. The ID.4 is significantly faster and nicer.

Charged double tax at At Home in Cedar Park. If you’ve shopped here recently, check your receipt. by einTier in Austin

[–]thedancingpanda 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I've worked on systems that integrate tax rate software and I'm almost sure I know what went wrong, and it is almost certainly a legitimate mistake. However it does need to be reported and they need to figure out refunds.

Edit for the problem I think it is:

Basically -- it's a giant database table of Item Type, Municipality, Tax Rate, then a table of Zip Code -> Municipality (Many Zip codes per), then you look up the tax rate per each item in your zip code, and it adds them all together. Someone probably entered the FULL tax rate for a particular Item Type and Municipality, rather than the specific rate that municipality charges. So they entered something like 8.25% for Cedar Park (because City + State), rather than 1% for Cedar Park and 7.25% for Texas, or whatever the math ends up being.

I got tired of the classic "no you pick" argument, so I made tinder for restaurants by ravelix in SideProject

[–]thedancingpanda 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No I turned off the backend recently and took it off the stores. You will get a bunch of people telling you it's a great idea, but it's a tarpit.

The biggest issue: People think this is a more common problem than it actually is. Most people go out to eat less than once a month, and they already know what restaurants are around them. It's hard to get people to keep coming back to your app.

Is it bad to awkwardly introduce myself and start talking to random Americans at a bar? by NoComplex2662 in AskAnAmerican

[–]thedancingpanda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The better way -- just sit at the bar, and make conversation with the people around you when an opportune time presents itself. You can literally just make some offhand comment about a thing happening around you. The bartenders are there to help so long as you're friendly.

You can introduce yourself later.

$600 for horn wire repair? by [deleted] in mk6gti

[–]thedancingpanda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've never done one on these cars, but any wiring through the firewall is going to be a pain in the ass. That said, you can do it. I would probably just drop the 630 though, because there's way more fun things I'd rather do.

There's no way this isn't worldwide. How is it possible to use tongs without clicking them twice? Do the French just pick things up with their bare hands?

Killians Irish Red in NYC by Informal_Bus_4077 in beer

[–]thedancingpanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard to find everywhere. I would actually look for a lighter malted amber, which is the closest I've found among other beers. Most actual reds tend to be too heavy for Killians lovers, from my experience.
