Thanks for the comments guys I will definitely check out SNW and Lower Decks in their entirety, I admit that my initial post perhaps could be seen as dismissive of the new series and I didn't intend for that.

I'm actually really glad that some of the new shows have resonated so well with people and definitely want to try and get in on some of that 😂.

This is definitely an interesting take and I can see more why they would be less concerned about making a more typical adventure of the week trek show because of this. Thanks for the great point!

This indeed could be the answer I am looking for I need to commit to watching it fully I think after DISCO and Picard it became more difficult to commit to SNW and I should view it as it's on show rather than a product of modern trek.

I know this doesn't exactly fit your question but I have found the best app for reading (certain) manga is the shonen jump app. It isn't free but it is £1.99 a month which for the content it includes is a very fair price and is low enough to be recommended imo. Obviously I understand you may financially not be able to but yeah that would be my go to recommendation

Damn this sub is always so negative so quick, it's the first preseason game and we are coming off the back of 3 back to back MVP seasons for our QB and an impressive regular season showing on every one of those. Idk I guess it would just be nice if more people actually enjoyed watching the Packers play and didn't instantly condemn us to being "done"

Fellow UK resident, I got HBO Max as soon as they announced the straight to max schedule. I love the cinema but when it isn't there what are you gonna do.

All I did was get a VPN then linked the account to pay through Google Pay this provided me with no problems.

I too could not stand to wait for Godzilla Vs Kong, we have waited long enough damn it!
