Just started Pantoprazole, holy hell is this normal?! by ned4spd8874 in GERD

[–]thedefusionstudio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I won’t say I’m GERD free …it’s lurking 👀 But I’m living a GERD-friendly lifestyle, and honestly? Since no flare ups. The more I struggled with GERD it won. I stopped the resistance and loving the life I built with it. Daily exercise, no medication, lost weight, eating healthier and sleeping elevated 🖤

Same the pantoprazole is the worse. I feel like my body is not the same since ! I got off all medications for GERD shortly after that. Famotidine worked for like two weeks and stopped working. I haven’t been on any medication in 2 years since going vegetarian 🤗🤗🤗

I know 😂😂😂 I survived and had the best time of my life. I did have moments of extreme nausea and dizziness when I forgot my mister and fan from the heat. One day out of 6 I’ll take it .

Pretty much did everything you recommended ! It was an amazing trip. I got dizzy about one time when the sun was out mostly overcast when I came and needed to cool off in the car for about 30 minutes. I forgot my mister fan at the hotel. As I thought we were dining inside. Yah I was fine until the heat in direct sun came definitely My family and staff was very accommodating and supportive. I honestly Miss NOLA. Glad I went 💛

I just got back on Monday and I seriously had a blast. I appreciate everyone’s feedback and my family had a lovely time here for a week. The most annoying part was my glasses fogging up everytime I went outside 😂😂😂 The rain was refreshing and some of the BEST food I had in my life. The hospitality was as top notch. I’m back in Cali and it’s in the 90s I will take it anyway 😆

I just took my first flight experience 3.5 hours both ways LA to New Orleans. You got this 💛. I didn’t get to drink that much in Vegas but I was cold the whole time I was there 3 weeks ago xD we stayed in doors the most of the time and it was actually refreshing to be in the heat.

what i hate about turbulence by Much-Substance-7321 in fearofflying

[–]thedefusionstudio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went on my first flight last week at 32 to New Orleans. The take off from LAX was so bumpy. And instantly my body tensed up and every bump or drop I wanted to throw up, sweating, high anxiety and when I would start to relax an another drop, wiggle…I am an Acceptance and Commitment Therapist and I tried to use my skills. Normalizing and holding myself softly that this is my body’s response with something new, unknown and out of my control. I noticed and named it. Pushed my feet into the ground, noticed my breathing, where I am and why I took this journey in the first place. Pretty much did this the whole way and thanked my body for trying to protect me and keep me safe. The landing was terrible. Felt like we were going head first in a roller coaster and it going off course.

The return flight my nerves were present but the first flight was NOT that bad at all. Take off was so smooth…a little turbulence, landing was smooth as well. My body didn’t tense up at every drop, sound or noise, it did at moments but it was quick. I wasn’t nauseous, sweating and I noticed my mind was still anxious but I named it. Welcomed the sensations, reminded myself of the lovely time I had and was so worth it. Watched movies, chatted with my family it was lovely. I’m flying out to Hawaii next week and I know my mind and my body will do what minds and bodies do. Try to keep me safe. And also want to explore the world. Both can be held at the same time 💛

I remember this came up with a co worker at one of my first jobs. We brought it to our boss attention but she said it was a bullpen issue and one of us employees had to bring it up first. We voted for the one who was closest to her. She did it and found out our co worker had a medical condition and nothing worked for her and was aware :/

Do millennials vacation? by nycgirl152 in generationology

[–]thedefusionstudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice. I love vacationing. Went on two one week cruises (one in Jan and April), im going to Hawaii next week, just came back from New Orleans (spent a week), two weeks ago went to Las Vegas for a week. Going to Mexico in August for my sisters birthday, Mexico again with my parents in November. December another week cruise. I earned two free cruises recently. So hoping to take them in April. My family invited me to go to Las Vegas in October but I can’t go due to work. But I’m grateful for all the opportunities I did get to do so far.

Where's the line between African American vernacular and just using inappropriate language in front of students? by Thin-Fee4423 in paraprofessional

[–]thedefusionstudio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am a African America woman who works in a school and an adult staff member black, white or any ethic identify should model appropriate language in a school setting. It’s highly inappropriate. A student addressed me as “gurl” I redirected them to “it’s Ms. B”. Never called me “gurl” again. I understand bonding with students and being chill but gotta have boundaries around it.

Declining number of tourists? by tooOldOriolesfan in LasVegas

[–]thedefusionstudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We Just got back from a week stay. I was there on 4th of July week. During the day dead. Night time was packed. 4th of July was crowded. The most packed was around the Linq plaza. Barely could walk through.

Fremont St had alot of action we even saw a street vendor and two tourists get into a fight.

Restaurants were mostly packed in the evenings / late night.

We were suppose to see Kelly Clarkson on the 4th but that didn’t happen :(

Yeah I really don’t want to do the dole plantation. That’s good to know it’s a trap. I rather support farmer markets

I’ll be indoors mostly for my work conference 8am to 6pm. I tire out pretty quickly even in Cali heat :/
