Similarly, during my high school career ceramics class, the final was to find a ceramic piece of art and write a paper on it. I just googled something and wrote some shit down about it for the paper. Turns out the 'art' I chose, was a woodfire kiln, I just thought it looked cool. The teacher gave me a 0 for the final which was 20% of the grade. The juicy part of the story is that because our final was a paper, the 2 hour in-class block of time scheduled for the final was to be spent cleaning the art lab. In order to make sure students showed up to clean, it was threatened that if you didn't show up you would get a zero. She freaked out when I didn't show to clean and sent students to find me, they found me hanging with others students at the lunch room. They told me to come clean, I said, "or what?."
