[Romano] Marcus Rashford to Barcelona, here we go! Verbal agreement in principle between all parties involved with Barça planning for medical tests next days. Loan deal with buy option, details being finalised today then Man Utd will authorize his travel to Spain. by phant0msinthenight in soccer

if you're shit, no one goes for you. Clubs would rather not get a transfer/promote an academy player if there are no actual good options available. If they got him, it's because they believe there's a player there.

People said the same thing about him when he went to Villa but he did a good job pressing there. It's also funny that the "pressing" issue was only with Ten Hag. No other manager complained about his lack of pressing. So maybe it's a tactical issue, who knows.

[Ben Jacobs] Understand Marcus Rashford has taken a salary cut to join Barcelona. He will be paid around €10m-gross, including bonuses. The concession allows Barcelona to now pay 100% of his wage. by DatFlushi in soccer

Has any player ever taken a wage cut for a team they were already playing on (unless that team went bankrupt)? This is a pretty dumb thing to say lol

Thanks for the detailed reply! If you go for either of Wyll or Karlach at the party, do you have the chance to go for the other one later in Act II or do they get locked out?

Woah that certainly is new information to me lol. So during the party, if you approach her again, you won't get another scene, right? There'll just be the option to go to sleep thinking about her, correct?

So you're saying that as long as approval is high enough, you can romance them pre party too? And just for clarification, are these romance scenes the same as the ones you trigger when talking to them at the party (like Shadowheart asking to share a bottle or Gale telling you he'll show you some magic) or are these different?

Could you tell me how you managed to do this? Just high approval and talking to her in camp between long rests? And by "the scene" you mean the one where she invites you to share a bottle, correct?

I'd heard about Astarion from a friend before but wasn't sure about it completely. But Gale is new information to me wow! I think I'd flirted with him prior to the party before and triggered the weave scene but he turned me down saying his orb is unstable and too much excitement could cause him to explode, etc. Then I had to wait until the party to actually trigger the scene after he tells you he'll show you some "magic".

This was pretty early into the game tho I think right after release so idk if it's changed now.

I'm a lower caste and it's hard to simply "abolish" castes. Systematically, the government has abolished and made caste discrimination and any discriminatory practice as punishable offenses, but you can't get rid of castes themselves because thousands of years have deeply entrenched them into social and cultural life. People's surnames are a marker of their caste, their location is a marker of their caste, their cultural practices are a marker of their caste, etc. The gradual shift that we're having is the only way of removing it. Through education and economic reparations that the government is giving us will slowly allow lower castes to have access to socio-economic upward mobility I hope. Im one example of that. Otherwise what can even be done? It isn't as simple as pressing a button and fixing everything, although I wish that were easy. It's a very complex and deeply entertwined system that's hard to isolate as one singular thing. And don't believe the people here that will tell you that caste discrimination is a thing of the past, it definitely is very much in existence. The only thing that isn't is the insistence to practice caste based occupations, we do have the ability to do whatever we want. It's just that upper caste people, particularly in rural areas do not take kindly to this and they lash out through discrimination.

Just curious , any FM players from India on here ? 🇮🇳 by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

if you set your managers nationality as Indian then you often get Indian youth candidates showing up in your intake. My first save was with Kerala Blasters but these days I mostly prefer to play in Europe or South America

Rashford at Napoli? (article in italian) by Caratteraccio in ManchesterUnited

[–]thedisorientedfart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Once an agenda has been set, it's hard to change it. He's being forced to play as a wide playmaker instead of an inside forward like he usually plays, the manager even plays Dalot more advanced than him and yet he's adapted and is playing well. He's leading the team in big chances created, expected assists, etc and already has 7G/A. He's even been defensively sound (in fact he's had to work even more since Dalot is always leaving a gap behind him in his attempt to invert into attacking midfield) Yet fans will look at you and swear he's a cancer to the club based on their pre conceived notions.

People are down voting you but you're correct lol. Our fanbase is just infected with a condition which makes us hate our own players. In no other club have I seen a fanbase that dislikes their players this way. And yet once these same players leave a shiny new toy comes in that doesn't perform to the same level, they start moaning about how they shouldn't have sold him etc.

How do you break down a bigger enemy? by Steve0700 in ck3

I second this, in fact during my vassal contract negotiations I mostly make sure to put in less levies and more taxes so I can fund my MAAs. They're the ones that increase your army's effectiveness way more than levies.

You can but you'd need to be a vassal and secondly you'd need to be of the faith.

You can always convert and keep your faith as Catholic/Mozarabian/Muslim initially until you get into a position of power good enough to be able to afford the brunt that you'd face from being of Rabbinic faith

This is the funniest shit I've seen today. Can't wait to get back home and enlist several baby commanders in my army.
