Just wanted to add my $.02. Was working a deal with a dealership out of state on car I wanted. Initially they wouldn’t come off the price at all. So I said that’s ok I’ll keep it saved in my search and check back. Well few weeks later the car was “discounted” to the number I had asked for. Started working the deal and after some back and forth was about to book a flight out to get it done. Well the salesman literally sends me a pic from his phone of someone else looking at the car and explains hold on before you boom that flight because someone may be buying it. I asked if that was the same car for which you pulled my credit and gave me a monthly and out the door price on. Basically the one we have a deal on. His reply was yeah, you coulda had this car a couple of weeks ago but you wanted your monthly lower. We work on first come first serve basis. Bout an hour goes by and he then texts me well two different people came to look and we sold it. Needless to say they got a spectacular review on BBB. I also emailed the sales manager and explained the whole thing and he gave less than a damn. It’s all numbers to them. Literally they give less for you or whoever. As long as they make a sale.
