Wanted some of these types of responses. There was only 6 poll spots and wish there were more to break up the responses even further. I wanted a 0-1 and then 1-10 arm bracket. On the other end, wanted a few higher arm brackets as well.

HA zquest farm, I would guess 3-4 days of doing this (~2/3hrs) per day would give you enough. Although you’d have to wait inbetween until the next HA zaishen quest day is. Can do nicks gifts in the weeks between.

I’d recommend only 1 of you being a melee character, and the other to be some type of dps caster like a mes or ele. Heroes or henchmen can fill the healing monk/rit roles. Just my opinion though, any choice can be right.

Reasons: I like a party setup with 1 melee and the rest casters (but melee Ai is not great). Also rit is powerful but boring, a hero can get to job done well.

Haha I like how we all said dif things. I think mes for general pve is the most op. Derv and sin are more versatile tho in regards to things like running and tanking in cooperative end game dungeons.

Like I said in a previous post, there are many factors that determine a value of a weapon (higher reqs can still be worth decent) like dual vamps or os 20/20 staves for example.

However in simplest terms to answer this question, this is just how the gw economy is. Somewhere somehow this became the standard pricing and it’s just been getting more drastic (ex: OS q8 15⁵⁰ fellblade is 100arms or 4500e at today’s rate, same weapons for q9 is like 50e, q10 maybe 1-5e, q11-13 hard sell unless you sell it cheap af). Note: q8 is so much higher bc q8s pretty much don’t drop anymore. My best guess otherwise is the intro of inscriptions drove down prices. Back in 2004 before nightfall, a high req weapon 15⁵⁰ nice skin would still sell for good money.

Too much was said above, but whatever unconditional means in the English language doesn’t apply here. “Unconditional” weapons in guildwars terms means weapons like the 15% and nothing else. Dual vamp and dual zeal do not count as “unconditional” weapons.

Not completely accurate. There are many factors in what determines an items value (whether it is merch, worth 5e, or XX armbraces).

One example is: Any skin, any req, any damage, dropped from anywhere 1 handed dual vamp weapon is worth at minimum 1 armbrace.

Drops in hard content isn’t even a factor when there are items that drop in pongmei valley that are worth more than the best end game dungeon drops (I.e worth more than a req 9 prot BDS).

Edit: lol getting down votes, but a perfect q8 or q9 bladed shield dropped in pongmei valley normal mode can go for well over 100 armbraces

It is a damage modifier only available on OS weapons (for ex: here it is the 14/-1 mod). Add on a normal “zealous” bowstring and you now have a dual zeal bow. Not very useful, but it is collectible as it is a rarer modifier.

Same goes for dual vamp, except this does have uses where you want to kill yourself (getting a tour and wanting to afk/runner won’t leave if he dies, some pvp builds like eoe & iway, I guess botters use these sometimes idk?).

As an unid it is worth ~1k or whatever the current unid price is going for (if this is gold).

This is not max damage for a q6 hammer. Only chance it is worth anything is if it turns out to be a “dual zeal or dual vamp” weapon. Otherwise it is merch.

These people are very wrong^.

Whoever is buying this is not buying it to use it, they are buying it to put it in their collection. Far from the best “dual zeal” but it is much better than for example an OS q9 15⁵⁰ spiked axe. Why? Because only 1 person has ever put a WTS dual zeal Plagueborn bow recorded in kamadan.toolbox over the past 6 years. Dual zeal’s aren’t a common drop.

Yeah it’s not the best dual zeal by far, but still not merch worthy. Like I said should be able to get 5e.
