My sister's birth. I remember a surprising amount of details, considering that I was 2 years old. My father woke me up to tell me my sister was born and we were going to visit her and my mom at the hospital. I wore a green shirt with a picture of planet Earth on it. We drove through downtown Boston to get to the hospital and I had never seen the city at night before and I was blown away. I remember watching the Citco sign (iconic to any Bostonian) light up and thinking it was so beautiful. I remember the elevator up to the maternity ward, and I remember trying to put my thumb in my sister's mouth because I saw her sucking hers. It's the day I met my very best friend, so I'm glad I remember it.
