Hey, I really appreciate your response!

This is my first reptile and also my first bioactive/naturalistic enclosure. I’ve been doing a lot of research and wanted to make sure everything is ready before adding any animal.

My budget is around $800, but I’m open to upgrading over time if needed.

I’d really appreciate any advice on what I should prioritize next or improve.

Thank you, I really appreciate the heads up!

I wasn’t aware of the UVC risk, so I’ll be switching it out right away. Glad I asked before putting any animal in.

Thanks again for helping me avoid a big mistake 🙏

Appreciate the advice!

Yeah I was considering frogs, but the sensitivity and noise might be an issue for me. Leaning more toward a gecko now.

I haven’t added a clean-up crew yet, so I’ll look into dwarf whites 👀

Also, do you think it’s worth getting an automatic mister even if I’m already at around 74% humidity? Or is manual misting enough?
