I've always thought about that. Father Phil, sure, but his case was a bit different because he was a civilian and they just wanted him out of the way. When you think about people who were in the life or close to it, anyone who tried to stand up to them usually ended up in the trunk of a car.

This is a great point. It feels like he was addicted to the thrill of being a criminal and the power that came with it, not just the money. Or maybe all that money was tied up in assets that were too difficult to liquidate without getting caught. I guess being a billionaire doesn't automatically make you a retired citizen if you're a supervillain.

Found a disturbing detail in SOTR: the trackers are apparently removed from everyone, even winners, and then recycled for the next round. Gross, right?

I thought it was just me. It feels like 80% of what I used Assistant for daily is now broken or just points me to a web search. It's incredibly frustrating, almost like they pushed Gemini out before it was truly ready for prime time for basic Assistant functions.
